You can create a link to a related publication in Wagtail. For now, this feature is only available in the HTML-based Publications details page editor.

Linking related publications provides context. For example, a “Terms of reference” publication can be linked to a “Committee of the Board meeting minutes” publication.

Step 1

On the HTML publication content page editor, add a new section in the publication content. A new anchor link will appear in the anchor navigation at the top of the page when adding a new section.

Step 2

In the new section, add a section title.

Select ‘Publication link’.

Step 3

A pop-up will appear on the screen. Choose an HTML or PDF publication from the list.

You can only link to publications that are live on the site.

Step 4

To add another publication select ‘Choose another page’. You can add as many publications as you wish, but we recommend 5 publications maximum.

To edit a publication link select ‘Edit this page’.
