Find out how to create a link to a related publication in Wagtail. For now, this feature is only available in the HTML-based Publications details page editor.

Benefits

By linking related publications, readers can easily navigate between these publications. This improves discoverability and encourages users to explore additional relevant information.

When readers finish one publication, they can seamlessly transition to a related publication without having to search for it manually.

Linking related publications provides context. For example, a “Terms of reference” publication can be linked to a “Committee of the Board meeting minutes” publication.

Example

View a good example of a “Committees of the Board meeting minutes” publication with a link to the committee’s terms of reference.

How to create the link

Step 1.

On the HTML publication content page editor, add a new section in the publication content. A new anchor link will appear in the anchor navigation at the top of the page when adding a new section.
